Backsplashes

Veining that runs uninterrupted from the counter to the ceiling — the detail that makes a kitchen look finished.

A full-height stone backsplash removes the grout lines entirely and lets the veining carry straight up the wall from the counter. It is easier to clean and it makes a kitchen look finished.

We cut outlets and switches precisely, and can book-match the splash to the countertop so the pattern continues across the joint.

Why full slab

No grout lines, no interruption

A full-height stone backsplash removes the grout entirely and lets the veining carry straight up from the counter. It is easier to clean, and it is the single change that most often makes a kitchen look finished.

The craft

Outlets cut precisely, pattern carried across

Every switch and outlet is cut to the millimetre, and where you want it we book-match the splash to the countertop so the veining continues across the joint as if the wall and counter were one piece.

Backsplashes in Michigan — FAQ

Full slab or tile?

Full slab costs more and looks considerably more expensive. Tile is more forgiving on budget and easier to replace in sections. If the kitchen is the centrepiece of the house, full slab is usually worth it.

Can the backsplash match my existing countertop?

If the slab is still available, yes. Bring us a photo and the material name and we will check what is in stock.

How are outlets handled?

We cut them during fabrication from the electrical layout, so the openings are clean and the covers sit flush. Give us the final positions before we cut.
